Care after bleaching
In order for your teeth to remain white after bleaching, the right tooth care and diet are important. For the first three days after bleaching, we recommend a so-called “white diet”. You simply exclude coloured foods, such as:

- tomatoes, spinach,
- berries, cherries and grapes

Bleaching strips, bleaching splints and tooth whitening pens. There are many over-the-counter products for tooth whitening. Tooth creams and whitening gels do not compare with professional bleaching and they carry risks. If the gel comes into contact with mucous membranes or is swallowed, this may lead to gum irritations or burns, damage to the dental nerve, and injuries to the oesophagus and stomach.
When it comes to home remedies: they are best avoided! Baking powder, lemon, salt - there is barely anything that permanently damages the teeth more.
Regular professional teeth cleaning can contribute to a longer-lasting bleaching result.
