Solne Kim is an artist living in Kronberg im Taunus who specializes in traditional Korean folk painting, Minhwa. Since 2015, she has operated her own studio at Grabenstraße 7, where she exhibits her works and offers painting courses. Her art combines traditional elements with modern aspects and personal experiences, with the whale playing a central role as a symbol of freedom and the realization of dreams.
In addition to her artistic work, Solne Kim is also engaged in cultural outreach and has been active with workshops for Korean Culture Day at Goethe University Frankfurt, among others. One of her solo exhibitions could be experienced at Baumstark Dental Practice in Kronberg. This exhibition was an exciting project that showcased the aesthetics of Korean art in various facets and promoted interest in cultural diversity and the artistic expressions of Minhwa painting.
Creative courses are regularly offered at Solne Studio, where interested individuals, children and adults, can learn the art of Korean painting. Through her works and commitment, Solne Kim helps keep Korean culture and art alive in Germany and make it accessible to a wide audience.
