Aesthetic dentistry
For a radiant smile and greater well-being
Did you know that Marilyn Monroe was among the first Hollywood stars to enhance her teeth with veneers? Aesthetics play a major role in our society and are an important factor in our well-being. A flawless smile stands for health, youth and vitality, but also for strength, intelligence, competence, composure and credibility.
Professional
dental aesthetics
How likeable other people perceive your smile also depends on your smile line. This is the part of the teeth that is visible when you smile. Aesthetic dentistry offers ways to change a negative smile line into a positive one. Beautiful, white teeth, healthy gums and functional harmony of the rows of teeth: aesthetics and function are closely linked in professional dental aesthetics.
If anyone can professionally assess oral health and the condition of your teeth, it is the dentist and their team. However, dental professionals do not only deal with repairing damage, but also with preventive care and cosmetic dentistry. Chipped tooth corners, severely tilted or heavily discoloured teeth can be corrected with veneers. We also provide tooth whitening.
Be sure to seek our advice on dental aesthetics, because cosmetic dentistry belongs in professional hands.

Your path to a radiant
white smile
Would you like a flawless, radiant smile? Then your dentist is exactly the right place to go. Because before tooth whitening begins, a few preparatory steps should be taken.
BLEACHING
How we proceed
Care after bleaching
Whether your teeth remain white after bleaching depends largely on proper oral care and your diet. For the first three days after bleaching, we recommend a so-called “white diet”. Simply avoid foods with colourants, such as:
- Beetroot, carrots
- Tomatoes, spinach
- Berries, cherries and grapes
Home bleaching –
Caution with over-the-counter products and home remedies
Whitening strips, whitening trays, whitening pens: there are many over-the-counter products for tooth whitening. The toothpastes and whitening gels are not comparable to professional bleaching and they carry risks. If the gel comes into contact with the mucous membranes or is even swallowed, this can lead to gum irritation or chemical burns to the gums, damage to the tooth nerve, and injuries to the oesophagus and stomach.
The same applies to home remedies: absolutely not! Baking soda, lemons, salt – there is hardly anything that damages teeth more in the long term.
Regular professional teeth cleaning can help the results of bleaching last longer.

Veneers – a beautiful façade for your teeth
Veneers, also known as ceramic shells, are wafer-thin ceramic shells that your dentist bonds to the prepared tooth surfaces. They are made by a dental technician and designed according to the patient’s wishes. We tailor the shape and colour of the ceramic shells individually to your teeth. The result is perfect and looks completely natural.
Do you have questions about aesthetics?
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about bleaching and veneers.
Discolouration occurs when darker pigment molecules become embedded in the tooth surface, for example if you drink a lot of coffee, tea or red wine, or smoke. Discolouration can also develop from within due to medication, illness, tooth injuries or root fillings.
These toothpastes are too abrasive and the teeth are unlikely to become whiter. You should only have your teeth bleached under dental supervision.
Veneers are suitable for concealing various cosmetic imperfections of the teeth, for example misshapen or crooked teeth, gaps between teeth, teeth that appear blotchy, severely worn teeth, or broken or chipped teeth.
